I'll never forget all the great times with Tony at TJR and NHS. He was so funny and so nice and just an all around great guy.

One of my most vivid memories is spending the day at the State Fair of TX with Duncan, Tony, and Kathy McIntosh. Kathy and I went with the FHA, and Duncan and Tony went on their own, and we agreed in Chemistry class to meet under Big Tex. It was a blast. I think we rode every ride and the guys tried all day to win us something on the midway. Tony kept us all in stitches with his antics. We rode one ride where we were flipped upside down and we all lost everything out of our pockets.

In March of 1993 a friend and I went to see Camelot at Fair Park Music Hall. I thought about Tony so much that day, remembering our day on those grounds, and his role in Camelot at NHS. Honestly, a couple of times I thought I saw him in the lobby.

In a few months I talked to Jan Mooney Rhodes about our reunion that was coming up the next year. I asked her if she knew where Tony was, because I had thought about him so much that spring and summer. She hesitated for a moment and then told me that he had passed away that summer.

I regret that I did not look him up during that time when he was on my mind so much.

I guess that's one reason I try to stay in touch and reconnect with old friends.

You might not be given another chance in this lifetime.

My two favorite memories of Tony are the "N" burned in the Lufkin football field. I love it still to this day & remind my "Panther friends" about it every chance I get.

The other memory is in Denton at college, my girl friends and I getting together with Tony and his frat brothers for "study night" at the UNT library.

Tony, there will never be another one like you!

We miss you,
