Funeral for Derinda Boatman, 57, will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors with Todd Muckelroy officiating. Mrs. Boatman died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, in Nacogdoches. She was born Sept. 20, 1956, in Nacogdoches. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27. Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors.

Derinda (Hardy) McClurg Boatman passed away Tuesday February 25, 2014 in Nacogdoches. She was born September 20, 1956.
Services for will be at 3:00 pm Friday February 28, 2014 at Cason Monk- Metcalf Sunset Chapel with Todd Muckleroy officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Springs Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her father, James Hardy; paternal grandparents, Burlin Hardy and Willie Mae Seelbach Hardy; and maternal grandparents, Jessie Ivy and Edith Petty Ivy.
Derinda is survived by her husband, Ric Boatman; parents, Ed and Frankie Ivy McClurg; daughter, Brandy Crisp and husband David; son, David Boatman; and grandchildren, Jake Crisp, Ivy Crisp, and Kymber Boatman; brothers, Lew McClurg and wife Vicki and Mac McClurg and wife Lisa; many special friends that are more like family; and a loving church family.
